What is the ICE XML Data service?

The service is a supported price feed providing access to delayed ICE Futures prices. Users of the service can make requests to receive regular price updates for in-house use or to put ICE Futures prices on their website subject to signing a license agreement.


Who should use the XML service?

The service is aimed at companies who wish to:

  • Track and monitor ICE Futures Prices intraday
  • Receive a price feed of ICE end of day prices, settlement prices and volumes
  • Have a customised display of ICE delayed prices on their website
  • Companies who want to track energy prices in general not just ICE Futures

You will be able to display ICE Futures Europe and US delayed intraday snapshot data and charts but no historical tabular data. You cannot place the data in a subscription service or behind a password protected website. If you wish to provide our delayed, realtime or historical data in a for subscription service you will need to become a Quote Vendor.


What contracts and fields are covered in the XML service?

All ICE Futures markets are available via this XML service and the following pricing fields are covered: First, High, Low, Settlement, Volume Weighted Average and Open Interest. ICE Futures Indices and Markers are also included in the feed. Click here for a full list of functions and fields.

  • A consistent data format. No need to regularly modify scripts/ programs retrieving data from the ICE public website where urls and data can change.
  • Custom data packages are available to suit your industry sector to simplify data access. The futures dataset can be as wide or narrow as you require.

Subscription Costs

For access to the XML service to obtain ICE delayed data:

ANNUAL XML LICENSE FEE: $5000

Inclusion of ICE Data on your website, using the XML service:

ANNUAL WEBSITE DATA LICENSE: $0

the website data license will be waived until 31 December 2009, annual XML License fees still apply.
